Autodata to showcase latest developments at Equip Auto 2019

Autodata, a world-leading-supplier of technical information, will be showcasing its latest developments at Equip Auto 2019, the international trade show for the automotive aftermarket. The show runs from 15-19 October 2019 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, in France.

Its trusted workshop application provides professional workshops with instant access to comprehensive manufacturer-sourced technical information supporting the service, maintenance, diagnostics and repair of vehicles.

Visitors to the stand will be welcomed by Autodata’s team of experts, who will be on hand to demonstrate the latest features and answer any questions they may have on the products.

Since the last show in 2017, Autodata has been busy developing new features and adding significant new content to its products. Over 3750 new models have been added together with over 181,000 updates to new and existing vehicles ensuring Autodata maintains its 99% coverage of the cars on the road today.

Recent additions to the workshop application include:

  • Bulbs Replacement module

A brand-new Bulbs Replacement module was launched to give technicians easy access to accurate bulb replacement data. As well as providing a replacement guide for each type of bulb, the new module rates the difficulty of the replacement procedure. This new feature helps technicians quickly assess the complexity of the job, allowing them to accurately provide quotes and avoid underestimation of tasks.

  • Motorcycle servicing

Service Schedules have now been added to Autodata’s motorcycles product. This significant addition means, that as well as technical information, time estimates and DTC, this product now includes OE-recommended service items – something that is becoming more important with the growing complexity of bikes.

  • New Air Conditioning imagery

A new generation of Autodata’s air conditioning component location diagrams has been launched to maximise speed and accuracy. Created by Autodata’s expert in-house graphics team using information sourced directly from manufacturers, the new diagrams use model-specific images making it easier to locate the components within the context of the engine bay.

Additionally, companies looking to develop their online tools and solutions can speak with Autodata’s team to find out how quick and easy it is to integrate Autodata information into their own systems to provide their customers with the most comprehensive, reliable and accurate technical data available.

Max Lienard, Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer at Autodata commented: “We are delighted to be exhibiting at Equip Auto again this year. The show provides us with a perfect opportunity to network with customers, both existing and new, and discuss how we can help them improve their efficiency and profitability using Autodata’s innovative solutions.”
