Autodata launches major model data release in February

This month sees Autodata launch a huge release of new models, plus updated data for existing models to the Autodata workshop application. In total 24 manufacturers have seen vehicle variants added – including Alfa Romeo, BMW, Chevrolet, Hyundai, Iveco, Jaguar, Peugeot, Renault, Ssangyong and Tesla.

In total Autodata’s Content team added 11,952 updates of technical information in February; between five and ten times the size of a typical monthly update. This bumper release included 600 new vehicle variants.

Technical information added this month includes:

General Service & Maintenance data

Battery reset procedures
• Key programming
• Gearbox drain plug torques
• Repair times
• Timing belt replacement procedures
• TPMS information
• Wheel alignment data


Diagnostic & Repair data:
• ABS data
• Airbag specs
• Air conditioning data
• Electronic component locations
• Engine management
• Fixes & bulletins
• Pin data
• Wiring diagrams

1189 updates across 194 variants of technical information were also released for motorcycles, covering motorcycles, scooters, quads and off-road bikes.

BMW 5 Series (F90) (17-) 4,4 M5 xDrive (2017-2019), Kia Ceed (18-) 1,6 CRDi (2018-2019), Porche Cayenne (9YA) 4,0 Turbo (2017-2019), Alfa Romeo 147 1,9 JTD 16V (2004-2011), Peugeot 3008 (17-) 2,0 HDi (2017-2019), Opel/Vauxhall Viva Rocks (17-) 1,0 (2017-2019), Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe(217) (14-) 5,5 S63 AMG (2014-2018), Chevrolet Camaro 6,2 (2012-2015), Iveco Campagnola 3,0 HPT (2008-2011), Iveco Massif 3,0 HPT (2008-2011), Jeep Grand Cherokee (11-) 3,6 FlexFuel (2013-2015), Lada Niva/4×4/Taiga/Urban 1,7 (2001-2005), Renault Symbol (L35) (08-13) 1,5 16V (2009-2013) and Ssangyong Rexton II (06-13) 3,2 (2006-2013).

Autodata continues to set the benchmark for technical information in the automotive aftermarket. Last year over 45,000 updates were delivered to ensure technicians are always working with the most accurate and up-to-date OE information. With this huge start to 2019, Autodata is set to raise the bar again.
