VEHICLE: 2015 Opel/Vauxhall Vivaro-B
ISSUE: Creaking/rattling noise from the third row seat whilst driving
DIAGNOSIS & SOLUTION:
We have a 2015 Opel/Vauxhall Vivaro-B in for service and the customer has mentioned that they have a creaking noise from the third row seat when driving. We have lubricated the third row seat assembly but the creaking noise still persists. Have other Vivaro-B owners reported this creaking noise before?
Yes, we are aware of a creaking/rattling noise on Vivaro-B models with second and third row seats. The noise is due to excessive clearance between the third row seat latch and catch. Unlatch the third row seat and apply felt tape, available from Opel/Vauxhall parts department, to the catches as indicated (fig. 1.1.). Carry out road test to ensure creaking noise has been eliminated.
