New to Autodata – December 2017

As part of Autodata’s ongoing development to continually reflect the demands of a modern workshop, regular updates take place monthly to bring you the latest vehicle models, manufacturer updates of technical information, and Autodata’s newest modules and feature enhancements.

Vehicle additions & updates

3,506 updates of technical information were delivered including repair times, service schedules, TPMS, wiring diagrams, wheel alignment, trouble codes and much more.

Vehicles updated this month, include the Audi Q2 (GAB) (16-) 2,0 petrol (2016-2018), Citroen C4 Picasso/Grand Picasso II              1,2 petrol (2016-2018), Honda Civic (17-) 1,5 petrol (2017-2018), Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe (253) (16-) 3,0 diesel (2016-2018), Mini              Clubman (F54) (15-) 2,0 petrol (2016-2018), Nissan Qashqai (J11) (14-) 1,6 diesel (2015-2018), Peugeot 5008 (17-) 1,6 petrol 2017-2018), Renault Master III (E/F/H/J/U62) (10-) 2,3 diesel (2016-2018), Subaru WRX (14-) 2,5 petrol (2014-2018), Volkswagen CC (358) (11-17) 2,0 diesel (2015-2017), and the Volvo V90 (16-) 2,0 diesel (2016-2018).

New feature enhancements

The following features were introduced or modified to improve the user experience and increase workshop efficiency.

Enhanced camshaft drive system module

This month, the navigation features of the Camshaft Drive System module were enhanced. The new full-screen layout offers maximum visibility of our detailed diagrams with the added ability to zoom, drag and scroll for a closer look at specific elements. The collapsible information panel provides users with uninterrupted views of the timing belts, chains, and gears illustrations available in our Camshaft Drive System module.

Enhanced performance and security

Significant changes have been made behind the scenes, to improve the performance, stability, and security of our online workshop tool as a part of Autodata’s ongoing development. This ensures that the product works consistently and effectively for all technicians, providing the information they need when it’s needed.
