Tracks of Taunton, Somerset

The new system shows information such as oil types, tightening torques and tyre pressures within the service schedules, which saves time for our technicians and parts personnel.

Tracks of Taunton in Somerset is a specialist Suzuki dealership with an extensive after sales department to conduct servicing, repairs and maintenance across a range of models.

The team is committed to ensuring every customer receives “superior levels of care” through highly trained technicians and utilising innovative garage equipment.

The workshop recently moved onto Autodata’s new web application to help improve efficiency during the servicing of vehicles and easily access accurate and reliable repair times.

Peter Haines, After Sales Manager at Tracks of Taunton, said: “The new system shows information such as oil types, tightening torques and tyre pressures within the service schedules, which saves time for our technicians and parts personnel.

“The repair times are also invaluable for our used vehicle sales preparations, along with the flexible and easy to use estimate calculator tool.”

In addition to all data and illustrations being embedded directly into Autodata’s new service schedules, the numbers of steps taken to locate one has also been reduced by up to 75% compared to old online versions.

Peter, added: “For once, it looks like the people who have developed the product have worked in the industry at the ‘pointy’ end and have listened to their customers to produce something that works straight out of the box. Set-up is easy and the regular updates are welcome.”

Autodata currently employs over 200 staff, the majority of whom are directly involved in product development. This includes over 70 skilled technicians and master technicians, allowing Autodata to see things from the perspective of the end-user and garage owner.

Peter, concluded: “All in all, excellent value for money”
