Autodata launches new online application for motorcycles

Autodata, a world-leading producer of automotive technical information, has launched a brand new online technical information application for motorcycles.

With over 42 years’ experience in producing and supplying the most accurate and comprehensive automotive technical information worldwide, Autodata has again reformed the way automotive technical data is being delivered to automotive technicians globally. Autodata’s technical data is well renowned in the automotive industry for enabling mechanics to service, maintain, repair and diagnose a vast range of vehicles. Automotive workshops that migrated to Autodata’s online application for cars and vans reported at least a 30% increase in efficiency. The automotive industry is already anticipating benefits of the new Autodata for motorcycles.

The technical data provided in Autodata’s new motorcycle application is directly licensed from 62 motorcycle manufacturers, covering over 8,000 motorbike models worldwide, including road bikes, off-road bikes, scooters, quad bikes, and side-by-sides.

Subscribers can start using Autodata for motorcycles within minutes of signing up on any PC, MAC, tablet, and smartphone. They will also benefit from easy access to the relevant information such as technical specifications, repair times, diagnostic trouble codes, and an estimate calculator. As well as time-saving features such as a recent activity panel to easily swap between jobs, enabling motorcycle technicians to pick up where they left off, and a smart search bar that predicts what you are searching for and presenting all options in a drop-down list.

The launch of Autodata for Motorcycles has marked a new era as Autodata is now completely online and will no longer produce any CDs. All current subscribers have been automatically upgraded to Autodata for Motorcycles online.

The new Autodata for Motorcycles can be combined with Autodata’s market-leading Online Workshop Application to provide automotive workshops with a complete vehicle technical information solution that covers, cars, vans, and motorcycles.

“Technical data for motorcycles has always been an important part of Autodata. Just like cars, bikes are becoming more and more complex, requiring a great deal of skill and knowledge to maintain and repair them. We have developed a technical data system that delivers the complex repair and maintenance procedures of modern bikes in a simple and easy-to-use workshop solution.”
