New to Autodata – March 2020

As part of Autodata’s ongoing development to continually reflect the demands of a modern workshop, monthly updates take place to bring you the latest vehicle models, manufacturer updates of technical information, as well as Autodata’s newest modules and feature enhancements.

2233 updates of technical information were delivered including repair times, battery procedures, service schedules, TPMS, wiring diagrams, wheel alignment, jacking points, key programming, fixes & bulletins, electric parking brakes, clutches and much more. This release included 52 new vehicle variants.

Significant Timing belt update

This month, we are pleased to bring you a bumper update of our timing belt procedures for many VAG petrol engine models (1,0/1,2/1,4/1,5 & 1,6). We have added or updated procedures to over 320 models including the Volkswagen Polo (6C1) (14-18) 1,2 TSI, Volkswagen Golf VII (5G1) (12-17) 1,4 TSI, Skoda Fabia III (NJ3) (14-) 1,2 TSI, Seat Leon (5F1/5F5) (12-) 1,4 TSI ACT and Audi A3/A3 Sportback (8VK/8VF) (16-) 1,5 TFSI COD.

Our dedicated team of technicians have been busy sourcing information directly from the manufacturers to bring you these procedures. They are tailored to the individual vehicles and to help you work according to their specifications. Importantly, these procedures include instructions for the VAS 611 007 special tool which VAG stipulates to use to ensure correct valve timing.  

These latest updates demonstrate Autodata’s commitment to ensuring that we provide technicians with the most accurate and up-to-date OEM information.
