New air conditioning imagery launched to maximise speed and accuracy

Through investment into the constant evolution of the Autodata product, we are pleased to announce the launch of a new generation of our air conditioning component location diagrams.

Created by our expert in-house graphics team using information sourced directly from manufacturers, the new diagrams use model-specific images making it easier to locate the components within the context of the engine bay.

The improved perspective gives better visibility of refrigerant line locations and key parts such as the compressor, pressure & temperature sensors and service connectors to help technicians identify the best route of access.

These new diagrams can be accessed through our dedicated Air Conditioning page as well as the Electrical Component Locations page.

With the new images continuing to be rolled out over the coming weeks, some of the very first vehicle models to benefit from the new images include: Ford Mondeo (15′), Nissan Qashqai (J11) (14-), Fiat 500 (07-), Honda CR-V (07-12) and Peugeot Boxer (14-).

In addition, Autodata is also rolling out further enhancements to its service illustrations for Air Conditioning re-charge connectors in this month’s update. With the addition of colour-coded high and low-pressure connectors and clearer location information, technicians will be able to re-charge AC systems quickly and accurately.
