Timing belt and auxiliary belt updates for Volvo models

Volvo models saw a significant update this month as timing belt and auxiliary belt intervals for 2,0 litre diesel variants have been lowered to match Volvo’s latest service recommendations. Autodata continues to update its model information to match the latest manufacturer data and reflect real-world wear and tear. The 10 year interval has been lowered from 144,000 miles/240,000km to 90,000 miles/150,000km. For Finnish customers the 10 year interval remains the same but the 5 year interval has been lowered from 180,000km to 150,000.

Volvo further recommends that if the vehicle has passed 90,000 miles or 150,000km it must have the timing belt and auxiliary belt replaced at the next service interval.

Autodata rolls our manufacturer-specific DTCs

This month saw 2,923 models receive DTC updates as Autodata further deepens the support it provides for diagnostic customers. Alongside the general SAE definitions, customers will see manufacturer-specific definitions that provide more relevant information on the model selected.
