Autodata to share latest insights at Automechanika Birmingham

Autodata, a world-leading-supplier of technical information, will be exhibiting at this year’s Automechanika Birmingham, the UK’s leading exhibition for the automotive aftermarket, running from 4-6 June 2019 at the NEC in Birmingham.

On its stand, the Autodata team will be showcasing its trusted workshop application, which since last year has seen various feature enhancements, along with over 46,500 data updates for new or existing vehicles. This huge and ongoing programme of development ensures a 99% coverage of vehicles on the road with the most up-to-date specifications.

Recent feature enhancements include a completely new Bulbs Replacement module to give technicians easy access to accurate bulb replacement data. As well as providing a replacement guide for each type of bulb, the new module rates the difficulty of the replacement procedure. This new feature helps technicians quickly assess the complexity of the job, allowing them to accurately provide quotes and avoid underestimation of tasks.

A new Service Schedules module for Autodata’s Motorcycles product has also been added. This important addition means, that as well as technical information, time estimates and DTC, this product now includes OE-recommended service items – something that is becoming more important with the growing complexity of bikes.

Autodata’s team of experts is looking forward to welcoming visitors to its stand and demonstrating these new features and answering any questions on the workshop application from prospective customers attending the show.

Autodata will also be delivering a presentation in the Aftermarket Theatre on Tuesday 4th June at 11.15 on Tomorrow’s servicing and diagnostics: what changes in the toolbox? The presentation will look at how servicing and diagnostics has changed over the years and how tomorrow’s technology will not only mean a new way of working, but it will also open up a host of new opportunities.

Autodata has been developed specifically around the needs and processes of the modern workshop. This means quick and easy access to technical information to support service, maintenance and diagnostics.
